Joined up for Jobs
Joined Up for Jobs
is an Edinburgh employment initiative guided by three principles – its
activities should be demand-led, client-centred and joined-up.
The implementation of the strategy is overseen by the Strategy Group, comprising the following key partners:
Capital City Partnership
Capital City Partnership is a coalition of statutory, voluntary and community agencies in Edinburgh working together to promote social inclusion and achieve social justice for local people. The Partnership focuses on jobs, health, housing, learning and community safety.
Careers Scotland
Careers Scotland is working to reduce economic inactivity among young people
and is seeking to increase productivity by providing access to career
planning support for people of all ages. Careers Scotland contributes
to Joined Up For Jobs
through its focus on employability support.
City of Edinburgh Council
The City of Edinburgh Council is the local statutory authority with a range of responsibilities, including community planning, education, and local economic and social inclusion policy.
