ECTA is a Joined up for Jobs inititative. Employer engagement is critical in helping us to identify current and future demand for particular IT skills.

Our task is to provide job seekers with access to both the training that employers require, and career opportunities employers are offering.

As an employer, there are three main ways you can get involved.

Employer Survey

ECTA programmes are led by industry demand for IT skills. ECTA aims to identify local skills shortages through dialogue with employers, and addresses them by providing training, placement and employment opportunities for Edinburgh job seekers.

Industry Placements

Industry placements enable trainees to prove their skills and gain valuable up to date work experience. Employers benefit with specialist assistance on projects, and many choose to recruit from placement trainees. Get in touch to offer an industry placement today.

Recruitment Opportunities

Recruit accredited Cisco and Microsoft specialists direct from ECTA. Speak to us about your IT staffing requirements, and we’ll use our database of recent graduates to help you find the right candidate.
